Slovakian tennis player Lukas Lacko clinched another Izmir Cup title after his 2011 crown in Örnekköy. The 27 year-old Slovak breezed past unseeded Romanian Marius Copil in the final in straight sets in front of around 1500 curious tennis fans. 

Lacko, who lost two Challenger finals this year, had a quick start at the match, building a 3-0 lead over Copil, including four break points saved in one game. He didn't lost a service game in the final, took the opening set 6-3. Copil made an ambitious start in the second set, had his service games easily, but Lacko still remains unbroken. Slovak number four seed dropped only 7 points on his serve in the second set, where he takes it by 7/5 tie-break. 

In the end, Lukas Lacko won the final battle 6-3, 7-6 over Marius Copil in 84 minutes, as he grabbed his ninth ATP Challenger victory. He collected 90 ATP points and 9.200 euros prize money.
