27-year old Slovak player Lukas Lacko has reached his second Izmir Challenger final after three-sets win over second seed Malek Jaziri in a grueling battle. Lacko defeated him 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 in semi-final to reach his 18th challenger final in overall. The versatile Slovak fired 15 ace and won 79 per cent first serve points at the match, broke five times to Jaziri's serve.  Malek Jaziri, last year's runner-up, took first set in tie-break, but didn't managed to win in the end. 

2011 İzmir winner Lukas Lacko now has nine match win streak in İzmir, also remained perfect (9-0) in Örnekköy courts.

In other semi-final, Rumanian Marius Copil breezed past to Bosnian 7th seed Mirza Basic, 6-3, 6-4 in 75 minutes. Big serving Copil recorded 12 ace against his rival, never gave him a break chance. Copil will play his 7th challenger final in İzmir.

2015 Folkart İzmir Cup singles final will be played on 27th September from 14:20.
